Welcome back to Part Two of our interview with Trevor Wilde from Wilde Wealth! Trevor is letting us get to more about him both personally and professionally, and educates us on how financial planning can help your work-life balance.
What made you decide to join the family business?
I didn’t technically join it – my father and I founded it together and have built it from the ground up. The firm has grown to five offices, including a 7,200-square-foot headquarters in the heart of Scottsdale, and currently has 16 employees, 10 advisors and five strategic partners. We’ve done this by remaining focused on providing customized plans to fit each and every individual and business’ varied and diverse needs.
Being an AZ native and a local family business owner, how important is it to give back to the local community?
It isn’t just important – it is imperative.
As such, we are so proud to have our Wilde for Arizona™ Community Outreach Program, which empowers each employee to be active volunteers, fundraisers and neighborhood champions at work and beyond the office. We’ve been able to collectively and positively impact Cell Phones for Soldiers, Sunshine Acres, Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Toys for Tots, Child Crisis Arizona, Boys & Girls Club, Run for Broxton, Briggs 4 Kidz and many more.
How is being a boutique financial firm different from a non-boutique financial firm?
We are smaller. We are specialized. We are focused on individualized service and planning that makes sense for each client and is based on comprehensive research and one-on-one discussions about goals, wants, needs and family. Being independent means we can use the entire suite of financial products to work towards the goals laid out in each client’s plan.
How would you describe Wilde Wealth’s approach to financial services?
Because we have independent investment advisors, Certified Financial Planners®, attorneys, mortgage specialists, an insurance team and even a Certified Public Accountant on board – and in house – as trusted partners, we are able to collectively take all the pieces of a client’s financial puzzle and organize them, but then use them to effectively build a solid foundation that will serve not just the client, but his/her family for generations to come.
How can partnering with a professional help maintain work-life balance?
The main benefit of partnering with us is our ability to work together to lift the metaphoric load off of your shoulders when it comes to anything having to do with intricate financial, tax, legal or other issues.
We know the questions to ask each other.
We know the materials we need from each other.
We don’t need you to be the middle man between all of us. In fact, we do much of the tedious work and behind the scenes – all the while the left hand knowing what the right hand is doing, so to speak – to respect your time and alleviate as much hassle as possible.
Thank you for joining us on this 2 part interview. We truly believe the right financial planner can make a huge difference for you and your family. We are very fortunate to have Trevor and Wilde Wealth looking after our finances and our future.
